A HOTLINE? - OKAY, LETS MAKE THEIR HOTLINE HOT

Merseyside-based trade union commissars have set up a national hotline for workers to report racist attitudes. Their Root Out Racism campaign takes calls from Monday 19th June to Friday 23rd June. Their hotline number is 0800 032 0033 and it costs the commissars money every call you make. Do remember you are entitled to protect your anonymity by pre-dialling 141 before dialling this number and contributing to the debate.

HARD LABOUR

Labour MP Jane Kennedys support for her governments drive to snoop on all Internet communications should not go unchallenged. In essence she demands the right to look over our shoulders, monitor web sites and all communications we make. Stalin indeed lives on in those he left behind.

Their intention has nothing to do with state security; it has everything to do with increasing government control. It is totalitarianism, which is surprising from a government that goes to great lengths to protect itself from surveillance. A government that incidentally is notoriously soft on crime and certain types of subversion.

Its true purpose will be suppressive; to monitor dissent and protect main government. It is a government camera in every room, every office. Would we really vote for such a totalitarian regime? If we do Im off!
