THE 'DANCING FUHRER' LIE EXPOSED

chllah.jpg (12307 bytes)
The jealous admirer of the German Führer

Most people are familiar with the newsreel and photo images of Germany’s National Socialist Leader, Adolf Hitler, doing an impromptu dance on hearing news that France had capitulated.

The pictures are standard issue for all Second World War documentaries, books and magazines. In fact these pictures have been revealed as a forgery. The originals pictures used in this elaborate hoax were actually taken long before the war and put together by the then British Ministry of Propaganda. Revealing the scam, the Birmingham Member of Parliament Boyle who had a deep interest in Britain’s wartime leader, Neville Chamberlain, disclosed that the pictures were doctored by us for propaganda purposes. He added, on that day Hitler’s tread was in fact remarkably sober.

This hoax was first revealed in the English national newspaper, Daily Telegraph on 26th March 1972. An interesting feature of the newsreel footage of this propaganda stunt is for viewers to watch the actions of the SS-Officer to the left of the pictures. Most viewers eyes are fixed on the Fuhrer. but if they look at the officer they will see his right hand apparently (and bizarrely) scratching his breast pocket. By looking closely we can clearly see that the officer is pulling his pen out of his breast pocket. Running the film backwards and forwards to give the impression that the Fuhrer is dancing also gives the scratched pocket effect. Most film has now edited out this oversight today.

BMW: HISTORY’S REVENGE

The row over BMW’s refusal to provide any more crutches for the ailing Rover range of cars has a heavy irony behind it. Charles A. Lindbergh,, the famous American flyer was in the U.S-Army of occupation in Germany at the end of war. In his diaries, The Wartime Journals of Charles A. Lindbergh(ISBN 0-15-194625-6) he tells of a cat fight between British and American troops as they looted BMW’s factories in Munich.

He recounts how he and other technicians drove to the BMW (Bavarian Motor Works) factory and found the barred gates were open for them. He says, Outside the gate, looking in through the bars, were a man, a woman, and a boy aged about ten, all looking as thought they had been hungry for months, white, thin faces and sunken eyes.

A U.S-sergeant, sitting on a railing was munching a candy bar as he gazed at the pathetic family group. (Note: Even had he a mind to offer sustenance he would have been court marshalled for doing so. Giving food to starving Christians was a serious offence). Lindbergh tells of how we went to a corner of the factory where a number of engines, portions of engines, and accessories had been assembled. A young British lieutenant was there. Lindbergh added, the British seemed to be everywhere where there is any scientific or industrial information to be gleaned. (U.S) Commander Seiller selected several items to betaken back to Paris in the C-47. There was a slight argument with the British about taking anything anywhere except to England. It was settled by rolling up an American Army truck and simply loading up the items we wanted to loot.

WINSTON CHURCHILL’S EARLY FLIRTATIONS WITH NAZISM

Winston Churchill, a half-American with a helping of Red Indian blood, never disguised his liking for the good life; imported cigars, the finest brandies, expensive clothes and mixing in the elevated circles of English privilege.

A failed correspondent despised by those he had betrayed during the Boer War, he quickly learned that opportunism in political life would give him the good life and the extras he craved for; power, influence and connections. He became adept at jumping from one party to another, being all things to all men, always with an eye for the main chance.

DENOUNCING THE BOLSHEVIK SEIZURE OF POWER

A fully fledged political chameleon Winston Churchill openly admired National Socialism and its revolutionary new leader, Adolf Hitler. Echoing the German Führer’s words condemning the Bolsheviks, mostly non Russian, who had seized power in Russia Churchill wrote (Illustrated Sunday Herald on February 8, 1920): "It may well be that this same astounding race (Jewish Bolshevists) may at the present time be in the actual process of providing another system of morals and philosophy, as malevolent as Christianity was benevolent, which if not arrested, would shatter irretrievably all that Christianity has rendered possible..... this movement among the Jews is not new..... it has been the mainspring of every subversive movement during the nineteenth century; and now at last this band of extraordinary personalities from the underworld of the great cities of Europe and America have gripped the Russian people by the hair of their heads and have become practically the undisputed masters of that enormous empire."

CHURCHILL’S ADMIRATION FOR ADOLF HITLER

Well aware of Adolf Hitler’s battle to keep rampaging murderous Communism out of his beloved Germany, Winston Churchill said, "While all those formidable transformations were occurring in Europe, Corporal Hitler was fighting his long, wearing battle for the German heart. The story of that struggle cannot be read without admiration for the courage, the perseverance, and the vital force which enabled him to challenge, defy, conciliate, or overcome, all the authorities or resistance's which barred his path. He, and the ever increasing legions who worked with him, certainly showed at this time, in their patriotic ardour and love of country, that there was nothing that they would not dare, no sacrifice of life, limber liberty that they would not make themselves or inflict upon their opponents."

England’s future wartime leader was unstinging in his praise for the twice decorated German hero of the hour: "There must not be lacking in our leadership something of that spirit of the Austrian corporal who, when all had fallen into ruins around him, and when Germany seemed to have fallen into chaos, did not hesitate to march forth against the vast army of victorious nations and has already turned the tables decisively against them."

He added that "The German leader with the highest of praise for his accomplishments as no other foreign statesman ever received from an Englishman."

A VAST DUMB PEOPLE

Of the Soviet Union Churchill was as scathing in his condemnation as was the Führer. In his book Great Contemporaries Churchill wrote: "In Russia, we have a vast, dumb people dwelling under the discipline of a conscripted army in war time; a people suffering in years of peace the rigours and privations of the worst campaigns; a people ruled by terror, fanaticism's sand the Secret Police."

Here we have a state whose subjects are so happy that they have to be forbidden to quit its bounds under the direst of penalties; where diplomatists and agents sent on foreign missions have often to leave their wives and children at home as hostages to ensure their eventual return. Here we have a system whose social achievements crowd 5 or 6 people in a single room; whose wages hardly compare in purchasing power with the British dole; whose life is unsafe, where liberty is unknown; where grace and culture are dying, and where armaments and preparations for war were rife.

Here is a land where God is blasphemed, and man, plunged in this world’s misery, is denied the hope of money on both sides of the grave. Here we have a power actively and ceaselessly engaged in trying to overturn existing civilisations by stealth and propaganda, and when it dares, by bloody force. Here we have a state, three million of whose subjects are languishing in foreign exile, whose intelligentsia have been methodically destroyed; a state nearly half a million of whose citizens reduced in servitude for their political opinions, are rotting and freezing through the Arctic night; toiling to death in the forests, mines and quarries, many for no more than indulging in that freedom of thought which has gradually raised man above the beast.

Decent good-hearted British men and women ought not to be so airily detached from realities that they have no word of honest indignation for such want only, callously inflicted pain. So what happened to make Churchill turn against Adolf Hitler, the German leader he admired so much and then to sacrifice the lives of so many Britons and English Empire loyalists to save the Soviet Union he despised so much?

THE BANKRUPT BAILED OUT

At this point in his life Winston Churchill’s future was to say the least uncertain. As a newspaper correspondent he stood exposed as a coward and a traitor. As a politician his early failures had ruined his credibility, for his wartime errors of judgement he stood despised. The future was bleak indeed and he was by now a figure to be derided. Recently he had turned to spending long periods in the United States where he was less well known for his disastrous career..

Meanwhile, between the wars he continued to live the high life far beyond his means. Finally in 1938 at the age of sixty-four his financial shenanigans had caught up with him. He could no longer keep one step ahead of his creditors. His beloved country estate, Chartwell, upon which his entire fortune and credibility rested was now to be sold to help pay his debts.

Happily for Winston but less fortunately for England and its Empire one Hentry Strakosch, the multi-millionaire, speculator and leading member of the Jewish community, bailed Winston out just in time to save Chartwell from the auctioneers hammer. No reason for this largesse has ever been forthcoming. But from that moment on, Churchill who had recently deserted the Liberals for the Conservatives, became the sharpest critic of his own pacifist party and look up the international Jewish war cry for conflict with Hitler’s Germany.

From here on he led the international war with Hitler’s Germany lobby. Political colleagues and opportunists who had earlier ignored him as a loser woke up to the fact that Churchill now had powerful and influential friends who would enhance their own careers. The war lobby was mysteriously financed and organised. The international enthusiasts for war with Hitler’s Germany; revenge for its anti-Semitism and its removal as a trade competitor had begun.

The rest is history and it is hardly surprising that the most apt epitaph for this half English dilettante was penned by The European and English Journal. In terms of personal success there has been no career more fortunate than that of Winston Churchill. In terms of human suffering to millions of people and the destruction of the noble edifice of mankind, there has been no career more disastrous.

GERMAN PRISONERS

When first I saw you in the curious street,
Like some platoon of soldier ghosts in grey,
My mad impulse was all to smite and slay,
To spit upon you, tread you neath my feet.
But when I saw how each sad soul did greet,
My gaze with no sign of defiant frown,
How from tired eyes looked spirits broken down,
How each face showed the pale flag of defeat,
And doubt, despair, and disillusionment,
And how were grievous wounds on many a head,
And on your garb red-faced was other red;
And how you stooped as men whose strength was spent,
And knew that we had suffered each as other,
And I could have grasped your hand and cried, My brother.
